Do you sell gift certificates? Yes, we sure do! You may purchase a gift certificate on-line now or call us at (888)309-0008 to order. You must call us for certificates in any amount other than $300. You may reserve a spot for a particular challenge at the time of purchase or it can be left open-ended for the recipient to schedule. Gift certificates expire six months from the purchase date.
Do you have age restrictions? No particpants under 14 are allowed, with the exception of Family and Youth Days. Ages 14 - 17 may particpate in challenge events but are required to have a parent or legal guardian in attendance at all times. Advance permission from Marksman's Challenge is required.
Do you allow spectators at the events? Sorry, spectators are not allowed due to logistical and liability reasons. Guests of participants ARE allowed and instructions are provided after registration. The Invitational Events will be open to the public.
Do I need to bring anything? Nope, we provide everything, including eye and ear protection. Feel free to bring eye and ear protection however, if you prefer your own. Personal weapons and ammunition are not allowed at the Marksman's Challenge range.
How experienced of a shooter do I need to be in order to participate? Marksman's Challenge has been developed in a way that ALL LEVELS OF SHOOTERS can participate and have a great time together. We will determine your handicap in advance based on your experience level. This is a friendly competition and is about having fun while enjoying the sport of shooting. The top shooters from each team will be invited to compete in the upcoming Marksman's Challenge Invitational.
I've signed up, now what? After signing up you will receive a confirmation email. Prior to your scheduled date you will receive coordinating instructions, as well as a survey with a few questions about your experience and skill level, which will enable us to fairly distribute shooters to their teams.
What if it rains? If it rains, we still shoot. If weather conditions are extreme we will reschedule and you will be notified of the rescheduled date. In general, the following weekend will be the "rain date."
Is payment refundable? Marksman's Challenge events have a minimum of 10 participants, and a single cancellation could force the reschedule of the date. Registration fees ensure costs are covered and the event can proceed as planned. For this reason, registration fees are non-refundable. In the event you must cancel please contact us.
When is the Marksman's Challenge Invitational? The Marksman's Challenge Invitational is held twice annually. The Spring date has not been finalized but is expected to be in mid June 2012. This event will be open to spectators.
